Shower pressure strong enough to wash away any doubts, and the room itself was surprisingly cozy given the circumstances. The place had a certain charm that made the two-night stay not a total drag.
Water pressure in the sink barely trickled. No plug for it, which felt like a design oversight. Thin walls let in noises from neighbors. kind of like living in a starship without hyperdrive and too close quarters. The bathroom situation was less than ideal, exposed screws in the shower wall, no lock on the bathroom door, and a wide gap under the room door letting corridor light flood in. A fridge or microwave would’ve been a welcome addition for family dinners—or breakfast pastries.

The bed in the Double Room felt cozy and supported my sleep well. I appreciated the flat-screen TV and the daily cleaning service, which kept things tidy. The location near the tube station made it easy to navigate around London. the walls were surprisingly thin. I heard my neighbors closing their door, which disrupted the peace. The bathroom lacked a bit of privacy due to the gaps under the door, letting light in at night.
